amazing.
December won't come fast enough.
Excellent edit. Very well done. Makes me want to buy a lot of T-70s!

Thanks! Yeah, me too.
Ya its a great remix, but if you see Ties missing the Falcon that much you have to assume C3P0 is on board so you need a clip of him too. sorry had to do it

Forgiven but not forgotten.
I could do without the "Chewie, we're home" bit if we are going for a dogfighting theme. Otherwise very good.

Makes me want to layer the top of my Raider with sandbagged AA emplacements Avatar-Style and pray for a Rebel-free morning.

Stupid Rebel super-ships. Can't feel safe nowhere.

How it goes for the poor Imperials.

Funny thing is, I very much have plans for a Chewy Falcon and a coupla T-70's. To fly that is. On a table, of course.

It was supposed to spark the warm and fuzzys. Did it work?
I admit this may be of interest to no one but me here, but doesn't the music from Trailer 3 sound more like a Two Steps From Hell homage to the John Williams themes, than anything arranged by John Williams and his associates themselves?

He added more drums and trumpets, which IMO adds a tremendous amount of oomph to an otherwise softer piece (force theme). It also acts as symbolism, as trumpets and drums normally herald triumph and rebirth. TLDR: It's the Return of the Jedi v2.0 in audio form.

What I'm saying is, I don't think that's JW.

It's because it's a shot of Fat Han and Fat Chewie reuniting with their ship.

You have correctly surmised that John Williams did not compose the trailer music: http://makingstarwars.net/2015/10/the-star-wars-the-force-awakens-trailer-music-was-not-done-by-the-maestro-himself/
I love the trailer music, though, especially that orchestration of the Force theme. So I really like the cut in this thread's OP.

Great find! Thank you!
I don't recognize the composer names, but the trailer music house Two Steps From Hell did the first trailer music for JJ Trek, which immediately seized my imagination. They actually made a special arrangement of one of their pre-existing tracks for that Trek trailer. So the trailer music industry is growing into a field of its own. I expected Abrams might have returned to that well for these TFA trailers.
And in terms of other composers taking up the baton from JW, Don Davis did great things with the Jurassic Park themes in JP3 many years ago, showing he had more in his arsenal than just extravagantly postmodern anti-themes, as heard in the first Matrix.
Was really hoping for someone flying X-Wing minis around making pew pew noises.
But I will add I am most enthralled with the way Han and Leia's love theme from TESB is rendered over the Falcon dogfight in trailer 3. Beautifully apocalyptic!
Anyway... Back to your regularly scheduled programming.

That's my line!
E terk myr lyrn!
I was expecting to see a recording of an actual game on the table, then an example of attack/defend rolls in movie form. I still didn't leave disappointed.
Or there's always the Binks Awakens!
My sides hurt from laughing!
I can't make it stop!
Meeesaa.....tryyyingg... nope. Still laughing. ![]()

You're a very, very bad person. I think I just spit an entire mouthful of coffee onto/into my keyboard.
