Got that idea from posts above. You have 3 killer Aces with Kallus and Tactican giving you a leg up against arc Dodgers and Vader.

Epsilon Leader's ability is easily overlooked. A lot of people see it as just a PTL enabler - which it is - for Omega Ace/Leader and Howlrunner.

But throw him into a squad of generic TIEs and you can do consecutive K-turns and Segnors. Not quite as good as turning your K-turns into white maneuvers, but still pretty **** good.

I'm about to try 3 omega squads with Juke, Relay, and Stealth with Epsilon Ace, relay and stealth.

So, went against Vader, Soontier, and a minelayer punisher

Forgot about juke the first 3 turns, but took out Vader by turn 5- I tied up soont and Vader in a massive furball, Epsilon Leader letting the omegas Sloop repeatedly while relay kept their evade for juke. However, Soont always rolled one more evade than I could get thrugh with juke, whatever I actually rolled. :/

Defensively, the omegas were great, shrugging off 3 die attacks and surviving 4 die attacks even after stealth broke. However, the bombs managed to finish off Epsilon Leader, and another omega got a major hull breach into Direct hit. I feel like it could have gone either way, but in the end a soontier at 1 health (he ran over his own bomb, so stealth was still up) emerged triumphant.

This is why I plan to run my Omegas with Jax:

3 Jukes & a Jerk

Jax w/ PTL, title, autos & hull = 34

3 omegas w/ comm relay + juke = 22 x 3

100

Col. Vessery with Tie FO's is a good list. You can get him with 4 Epsilon Pilots for a fun list. I don't have 4 FO's, but have replaced two of them with a Tie Adv. and had a great list. Last things are often the FO's.

I don't think anyone's overlooked it.

And fun as it is, you're also then sacrificing actions for your two-dice attack ships, so you're not going to lay out a lot of damage. Unless you throw Predator on all the TIE/Fos, in which case, well... that could be quite the meat grinder.

Another solid use for him? Bring debris clouds with you, and just say "**** it" when you fly through them. You lose an action and take a 1/8 chance of damage, but that stress will be gone come combat phase. I'll definitely be bringing small debris clouds with my TIE/Fo squad.

Guess you could also pair him up with Fleet Officer, but no clue to what end.

Lt. Lorrir wouldn't mind him (though there's plenty of ways already to get around the silly stress his ability gives).

And he's just good defense against stress builds if you're concerned about them.

He's probably the least flashy of the unique TIE/Fo pilots, but he also might be the most useful.
