This December through February, fight for your faction in the 2015-16 Winter Tournament Series at The Guardtower in Columbus! More details will be posted to this thread, in this post, as they become available. Stop in Monday nights also for casual pick up games of X-wing from 6pm-Midnight!

Entry Fee: $5. Fee is waived with the purchase of any X-wing expansion at the time of the event!

Seating: 32 (pending store approval)

Format: 60-150pt Escalation Casual, 100pt Standard Casual

Prizes:Each tournament will have prize support from the 2015 Winter Kit!

1st place - Slave 1 Medal

1st and 2nd - Alternate Art 'Darth Vader' Pilot Card

1st through 4th - Extra Munitions Acrylic Token Set

Top 16 - Alternate Art 'Gunner' Upgrade Card

Judges Choice 'Fly Casual' Fellowship Award - To be announced

Players Choice 'Fly Casual' Fellowship Award - To be announced

(The four Dice Bag prizes will be awarded as per kit instructions if present or TO discretion otherwise. Will be to a ranking position or fellowship based depending.)

The first event has been scheduled! In the escalating excitement for the new film a few days later, we will be doing an Escalation event!

Date: Sunday December 13th

Time: 12:30pm

Format: Escalation 60-150pts Casual

Entry: $5, or the purchase of an X-wing product the day of the event will get your entry fee waived

Seats: 32

Prizes: As original post.

You will need to have a squad list for both 60, 90, 120, and 150 points. It must follow the escalation list building rules as out line by the FFG tournament. Basically everything that you had in the 60 point list must be in the 90... everything in 90 must be in 120...etc. 60 points you must have a min of two ships.

Other than that, there should be plenty of space available. ForceSensitive can provide more information as he is running the event.

We haven't gotten to the point in attendance where pre registration is necessary, but if you private message your name to me I'll reserve a spot happily for you considering your travel arrangements. If in the future the store gets enough calls and there's a demand, the store will get a preregister sheet that you can call in to sign up on. Check back to the boards here and face book announcements to see if that happens, I will make a big deal about it as I would love to have that kind of attendance.

Since it's been a concern lately, any prize pay out that is won, if the store has not received the kits in time, I will mail prizes out to you come hell or high water. Though I doubt this will be necessary.

Glad your interested, hope you can make it! You will to my knowledge break a distance record for travel at our tournaments!
