Introducing Armada Warlords: database and fleet builder

By Nevetz, in Star Wars: Armada

I have used the armada warlords builder a lot and find it the best one of the armada list builders out there. I do however have one thing that I miss, and that is a sub-total with the cost of each of the ships, including their upgrades, on my list both on the interface and especially in the print views.

I hope you will consider adding this feature to your already great list builder.

And thank you for the huge effort that you have put into armada warlords.

Just in case you missed it, i'll point out that this summary exists in the text export page. I agree that it would be nice to have it on all the pages though.

You can definitely have it on all pages. I was thinking to redesign most things for better mobile experience but you know how things go... daily work and endless new surprises always take away time from the "hobby"

I'll be updating Warlords with the new spoilers between now and this evening (Europe time). Don't worry if you'll see for some time only a part of the new content.

ps: I have finally the official artwork for Major Rhymer.

Good work!

Could you make the aces be in the list next to their generic squadrons? Right now they are just in order of release.

Also when editing a fleet, I believe just on mobile edit, it is putting the offensive retrofit in the officer slot pretty consistently.

can do.

Uhm okay I'll give a look to it too. Only in edit mode or also when creating?

Feature to copy your list edit and save under a different name.

That would be huge.

Only in edit and possible only in mobile edit.

Thanks as always Nevitz! Thanks for being on top of the new content

Also when creating a new list. Mentally it is easier to understand when all the TIE fighters are grouped together in selection, TIE bombers are together...etc....

I'm looking forward to the "copy the entire list" function for those times I want to make a bunch of variants to the same list.

Gentlemen, you can now fork any list on Armada Warlords. This means you can open any fleet, yours or not (but public), in the builder, edit it and save it as yours. The new list anyway keeps track of the forked list, so a link back to the original fleet is saved (although not showed yet in the site).

A feature to filter lists? By admiral perhaps.

Awesome site by the way, it saves a ton of time in fleet building.

IS there anyway to stop it logging you out? This can hurt if, as I sometimes do, take too long to finish a list!

A feature to filter lists? By admiral perhaps.

Or just sorting.

Sort by Admiral and Fleet name.

Add the new fork ability and you have a really powerful fleet creation tool.

I can do something for a research tool in the lists page. Also, I'll be adding the "fork list" button in the lists view pages so you can fork a list directly using the fleet link.

Yeah, defo, plus by size! :)

I just forked my first list, and when I try to put in Needa, he also appears in that ISDs Offensive slot. It I remove him from there, he's also none from the Officer slot. Weird, huh?

And it charges me points for both Needas :D

If, however, I delete that ISD and add in a new one, nothing untoward happens.

I love this feature more than words can convey.

Or everyone could caretake their lists and delete old defunct lists... so the number is manageable

Seems weird indeed. The process that creates the fleets and edits it is the same as the normal fleet builder, so I guess if it happened while forking, it would also have to happen normally while building. I'll try have a look at it today. Got the fleet link?
