Ack!!! more stuff to collect now!! just orderd TWO core sets. figured at that price i may need a second set to sell to a friend to get a group started!! Now i just need to wait for a "Raider" deal of the day!!! I have one all ready but since I have TWO tantives. I might as well get another..

I was going to say you don't need two core sets unless you plan on spamming CR-90s and Nebs (ala tie fighters from X-wing)
you could probably field 3 of each (the cards in the CR-90 and Neb expansion are incredible, especially the Neb titles in the expansion which just turn it into a whole other monster) under Mon Mothma (commander from cr-90 expansion) with a healthy amount of squadrons @400 points
for Imps, double VSDs is a little rougher because the VSD expac has some nasty cards, but who doesn't want to spam Star Destroyers alongside an ISD? That's going to look glorious on the table, and VSDs with tractor beams promise to be great fun

I bought my core sets from Jet.com for under $40 shipped. It looks like its a bit more expensive now, but still a great price.

I just don't think I can afford both games but I feel like I'm just dodging bullets and delaying the inevitable. Maybe someday and these deals sure don't help my willpower. Maybe, I'll be able to buy in to Armada like I did for this game by buying an entire collection at once at a discount from a local player.

Preach it! I know that I can't afford both games and have even paused further investments into x wing. I'm paying off an engagement ring and planning a wedding so money has been non existent for a minute now. I agree with you though that every time these deals come around, the temptation is so great. I know I will get into Armada, I just have to remind myself that the game will still be around when I have disposable income again, whenever that comes about haha.
