So after proxying some integrated astromechs, I want to say that it is a super quality of life improvement for the classic little craft. And yet, while Wedge w/ BB-8 and PTL is now imo an actual viable ace, I think the generics are still missing something to make them more attractive than B-wings.

here is my idea for that something:

replace the first "R" in their name with "W"

Suddenly, this

becomes a hell of a lot more intimidating!

(except I keep imagining what poor Wedge must be going through as the comms go full blast with roars and grunts)

Do their X-Wings fire Bowcaster blasts instead?

For some reason I was thinking red squadron pilot. I think I like them Being Wed Squadron. Sounds like a 3 year old said it, and it is hilarious.
