Attachments + Temporary Alliance

By The Gas, in Imperial Assault Rules Questions

1) Am I correct in understanding that an out-of-faction unit brought in with Temporary Alliance cannot bring along one of its faction's attachments? No Fury of Kashyyk for scummy Wookiees?

2) But what about the main faction's attachments? Could those same Wookiees equip Last Resort instead?

Skirmish Upgrades are not able to be brought in out of faction using Temporary Alliance. There does not appear to be anything that prevents using the main faction's attachment on an allied unit.

Wouldn't the Rebel/Scum/Imperial symbol in the upper right hand corner of the Skirmish Upgrade card prevent you from attaching it if your primary force did not belong to that faction?

I don't have a mission sheet with the Skirmish Upgrade rules in front of me to verify the truth of my above statement,

Yes. But there is nothing that stops you from attaching Last Resort to Wookie Warriors that you bring into a Merc list with Temporary Alliance.

Right now I'm wishing that Mercs could bring in Imperial units. Probe Droids with Last Resort would be awesome.

EDIT: NM, Last Resort wouldn't be triggered by a Probe Droid's self-destruct.
