I'm new to Dark Heresy and am quite excited to start gaming, however I can't seem to find a decent low-ink version of any of the reference sheets listed on the FFG site (GM sheet, encounter sheet, NPC + Vehicle sheet, and most importantly the character sheet). These sheets are rather annoying for my gaming group to write on with pencils, with reduced visibility from the background as well as a tendency for the background to smudge and disappear when erasing. I'd prefer avoiding printing new sheets frequently as a result of using pens, and color versions of the sheets are just out of the question for me right now. I've done a good amount of searching on these forums and elsewhere and haven't had much luck other than a few very simplistic fan-made versions of the character sheet which I'd prefer not to resort to. Are there any decent versions of these sheets available or plans to have those added to the resource list? I'm hoping that I am not the only one in this situation.

Have you tried low ink mode on your printer (a.k.a draft mode)? It's a pretty common feature that prints with about 50% ink.

Thanks for the tip, I went back and tweaked some of the settings, including draft mode. Although the writing on it is more visible now, and it the background smudges less when erasing, it's still not quite what I was hoping for, but I'll settle for it.

You could also use the digital app and print PDF from there.
