i think it would be awesome if they created an epic sized box expansion for runebound. thinkabout it the map would be huge, i mean HUGE! it would hace hundreds of card like 500 cards, it could come with like 24 hereos or even more! they could have several different ways to play it (think adventure variants), a whole 'scenario book dedicated to those extra ways of playing, it would add a whole bunch of replayability. and it that does not fill up the box (which it probaly won't) the could even have miniatures of the 'monster you have to beet' in each of the variant ways of playing, or just some of the extremely tough red monsters, if not for playing then more looks, then could even go as for as adding a new color of monster that are even harder! because the game has such a big board the heroes would get really strong. they could add elements from all the other box expansions; sea travel, a freezing cold mountain range and an extremely warm area. i think an expansion like this would be awesome think of all the replayability in the game they could have several hundred new monster cards, hundreds of item and ally card. the only thing would be that FFG would have to find a way to get players to travel all across the map so they are not staying isolated from eachother. they could redo some of the rules to add for more player interactions like maybe teaming up to battle against some enemies. what do all of you people think of something like that, would you consider buying it, i for one ould definatly be buying it.

You should check out Runewars. There isn't much information known about it yet, but it is an epic box game set in the Runebound world, and it seems to focus on overland travel and adventure, unlike Descent's dungeon crawls. It may just be exactly what you're looking for, when it comes out =)
