I really hope they just stick with the two faction Rebel vs Imperial in the Galactic civil war. There are plenty of ships and fighters to choose from, why not just extend on what we already have with the Characters from the original movies, and the EU. The PC game Rebellion can give us plenty of ships to chew on

I never want to see a scum faction. It's appearance and dominance in current X-wing expansion waves is part of the reason I'm giving that game a hiatus. I didn't see any scum ships participating at Yavin, Hoth, or Endor... so why should products be made for this game when they were never in a fleet battle?

I also don't want to end up waiting three years for the Nebulon-B2 MC40a while scummy Tyber Zann ships are being pushed at us. In X-Wing, I'm still waiting for the Assault Gunboat while LFL keeps throwing SW galaxies and Scum ships at us from wherever they're pulling them.

The assault gunboat has been retconned into being a TIE punisher I thought?

Where was that written? The RPG confirms the existence of both. And If it were up to me I wouldn't further legitimize one of the laziest Star Wars designs I've ever seen.

Didn't someone say Utar was closing up operations for a year? His shapeways page has his version of the MK I but I had the impression his resin stuff was cheaper. I don't have money now, but it would be nice to know when it's available for when I do have some spending money...

You know in the video I linked at the 11 second mark what is the ship underneath the two DP20s to the right of the Nebulon? Also I think there are some Interceptor IVs in there.

Only one of those three was a fleet battle though.

And listing all the fleet actions scum groups participated in during Legends would take too long. There is also mention of scum fleets in the new canon novels.

I'd like to see the MKI for Armada. I think by going out of their way to distinguish the two types, I think it's possible we'll see the MK I someday. What version of the MK I is another matter.

Given that ship chart, and the fact that the 'Home one' expansion is the only one that does not mention the actual name of the class of ship, it's reasonable to assume we will see a 'Liberty' expansion in wave 3.

Hence: only one MC80 for me.

No demolisher or raider on the imperial side though.

They could make a dreadnaught expansion in wave 3 as a medium ship, and have a rebel version on one side of the card and an imperial version on the other.
