Well, I guess since the CIS have taken control of the planet, a good place for the Jedi to take ground would be away of the clankers' eyes. The problem is we don't even know how big the ship will be... so we'll have to improvise.

I suppose we'll have a place where the remaining loyals gather (I take for granted our ancestral lands were dessecrated by the Nebtuu and now probably in control of the Seps). Probably a suiting place for landing next to it?

Also, let me go pee and I'll work out a small description of the planet, for you to use (or any of it) as you see fit.

Navarion.

Navarion is a planet full of natural resources. The local air and water are rich in gases and other elements which have many different uses and can't normally be found in such quantities.

The abundance of these elements is what gives Navarion its special features: the sky's colour is reddish and the water seems to have a pale yellow touch.

Geographically, in Navarion one can find different features: in the North, thousands of islands form the Misty Isles archipielago, most of them quiet and fertile and home to many friendly fishing villages, whereas to the East these islands turn into rocky and inhospitable atolls, the land of the Black Jaws, a clan of fierce warriors who master the power of elemental fire.

The lands in the southern hemisphere consist mostly of a big continent, divided in three main zones. Enead's Frontier is a vast zone of alternating jungles and savannahs, where many clans live, including clans Amonet and Nebtuu. The coldest zone of the Frontier is called Enead's Taiga, where the mystic seers of Clan Shu can be found. Finally, there's the rocky red desert known as the Great Sun of Monithal, in honour of the ancient red goddess of the wind, the most revered among all Navarion deities.

This is just a bit of setting for you to take if you want, or to take some parts of it, or to ignore. It's a homebrew setting which we use in most of our games in my local group, I inspired the PC in that setting too so I thought you might want to know what was in my mind.

Looks good so far. I figure your enemies took your lands and you escaped to a neutral 3rd party's land, but are being threatened by your enemies and the CIS. There's some evidence that CIS are building a droid factory here, back in your enemy's lands.

If I went "Planet Asia" I suspect you'd be disapointed in what I did to your world.

But... this is your world! You can do whatever you want with it, and make up whatever names you want. Just as I'm going to do right now.

-Both Clan Amonet and Clan Nebtuu are originary from Enead's Frontier.

-The ancestral land of Clan Amonet is commonly called The Green Pot. It's a vast green plain, surrounded North and East by the Red Peak mountains and South and West by the Ianen Jungle, which is the ancestral land of Clan Nebtuu.

-The Ianen River comes from a distant mountain formation farther Southwest, through the Ianen Jungle, and flows into the ocean far away to the Southeast. Most of Amonet villages are settled around the river. Istvan's village is called "The Wind in the Second Aurora of Ubieth".

-The CIS started constructing several factories in the planet, including one in the Ianen Jungle, to exploit both from the river and from the forest trees. They probably deforested a zone, creating a sparse zone which theyy probably gave a name themselves.

-Istvan and some other survivors managed to cross the Red Peaks into Enead's Taiga, the land of Clan Shu. Clan Shu is renown for its female seers, but nobody knows if they are really a fake or not. They are, however, among the kindest and warmest people of the southern hemisphere... which is not much, really.

-The names of Istvan's companions are probably things like Amon-Kual, Koebis (wait, that's actually him), Nehebka, Shuzal, Re-Shemsu, etc.

-The language used in the southern hemisphere is called Kulashu. Every clan speaks Kulashu, with local variations. In the northern hemisphere, the language is known as Samara. Samara is derived from Kulashu, but prefixes and suffixes are reversed. Crazy people, these northeners.

-Kula is a word meaning "respectable". It's added at the beginning of the (second) name to people who ascend to the position of Kula (magistrate). Magistrature lasts 7 years, but the deference and the title name is for life. Istvan's master was Kula Kalopsita (Istvan would have been Kula Koebis if all would have gone well).

Kyla will mostly research native customs, practices, and politics of the locals. She'll be specifically doing a comparative analysis to the landing procedures of the Clone Army to ensure that our arrival isn't going to create a social or political snafoo.

I'll also reduce the crit on my lightsaber to 1 using the free mod. I'm not going to get tricky with it beyond that.

Right, so we're looking more at an advisory role at this point than a full combat one. Can we get access to a few crates of DC-15s and flak jackets to give the locals some staying power?

Clone batches are about 4 and a half months apart, but priorities for it arnt set yet.

Hmm...so we've got two and a half platoons of Clones, four Jedi, enough weapons for about two companies of locals, and no reinforcements in sight. Ranged against us are enough droids to conquer a planet (admittedly one full of Bronze Age-level tribesmen).

About tech: yeah, mostly Bronze age. Culturally, the North is usually more advanced - they developed writing first.

About Force traditions: what we had here is probably a pair of Jedi who landed here about 10,000-15,000 years ago and were probably unable to leave the planet. They formed a sub-sect of the Jedi, with many similar things but also with own customs. The planet hadn't have access to technology or kyber crystals, so lightsabers disappeared, though Masters were able to psychically charge amulets with the Force.

Clan Shu mystics are well renown in Navarion, so maybe our young survivors went to them to try to contact some help through the Force - if they're not a fake, that is.

Many things in Navarion are attributed to magic, but they're hardly so. Shu mystics could be just very smart and empathic pretenders, while Black Jaws warriors, who are said to spit fire, might only use some kind of trick to simulate doing it. But of course, there's always one or two guys who can do it for real...

Many things in Navarion go around the concept of the Seven Elements, each one related to a different deity.

-Earth, related to the the god Ubieth and the colour black, represents stubbornness and resilience.

-Opposed to Earth we find Air, related to the goddess Monithal and the colour red. Represents flexibility and adaptability.

-Darkness, related to the god Kulashae and the colour blue, represents entropy and the cycle of life and death..

-Its opposite, Light, is related to the goddess Naiathal and represents peace and diplomacy.

-Fire, related to the god Koithal and the colour orange, represents the extremes of life: total destruction or total preservation.

-Water, on the other hand, is related to the god Sobieth and the colour yellow, and represents balance and tranquility.

-The last one, Instinct, related to the god Ianen and the colour purple, represents everything primal, wild nature and pure instincts.

The gods as a collective are known as the Navar-Kul.

When someone, for example, is quite brash and angers quickly but forgets quickly, people say "the fire is strong in him" and comments like that.

Clans:

Every clan traditionally worships a different Navar-Kul, from whom they get their name, with some exceptions.

-Clan Amonet worships Monithal (and sometimes Koithal), and lives in the plains and mountains of the Enead's Frontier down to the Great Sun of Monithal.

-Clan Nebtuu traditionally dwells in the dense jungles of the Frontier, and worships Ianen.

-Clan Shu's land is the cold Enead's Taiga, and they equally worship Monithal, Naiathal and Sobieth.

-Clan Ubseth worships almost exclusively Ubieth, and mostly live in the Taiga with their traditional allies, Clan Shu. Ubseth warriors are usually bodyguards to Shu seers.

-Clan Sobek lives spread through the planet's equator, always near to the sea, and worships Sobieth in exclusive.

-Clan Samara and Clan Variax share the Misty Isles. Both worship mostly Naiathal and Monithal. The Variax are well renown for their kindness and hospitality.

-The Black Jaws are not recognized as a clan, but are rather seen as a bunch of rude and aggressive savages. They really are quite dangerous, though. They all worship Koithal, of course.

Query: given the primitive environment, how will we be handling the issue of obtaining any equipment we might need (I'm mostly thinking things like medical and survival gear) over the course of the adventure? I noticed that we Jedi all travel pretty light.
