Don't get too comfortable - I'll be submitting a clone too! =)
Looking to fill the party with 3 Knights, one Apprentice, and 2 Clones. You'll be supported on most missions by clone trooper squads.
and 2 Clones
I still like my chances.
I still like my chances.
And if I submit a clone and it's only us then my chances of playing a Jedi go down sharply....

I've got a trooper in the works. ![]()
Oh dear, I've opened the floodgates...
So I was the only one submitting something which is not a Jedi nor a clone?
My chances... suck, I guess ![]()
Luckily, I managed to send a Jedi which uses neither Seer, Niman nor Soresu... ![]()
K, throwing my lekku in the ring! Here's my Jedi Knight, Tabithia Lecala.
I really like the concept, though I'm curious why you took DS force powers. If you want to have them, I would suggest explaining them in your backstory.
This isn't canon anymore, but it used to be that most Twi'leks would spell/say their names without a space/pause between the first and last name (i.e. TabithiaLecala). A space/pause (i.e. Bib Fortuna) indicated dishonor. Like I said, I think this has been done away with, but if you want to use this convention, you could indicate whether you have honor among Twi'leks. Just something fun I thought I'd mention.

I thought Heal / Harm were the same basic power - just treated differently depending on whether you are using it for the light side or dark.
(same with Protect / Unleash).

Ah, you're right. I got confused by the separate entries. I'm not especially familiar with the new force powers yet.
Hmmm....I might roll up an Ataru apprentice then. Not directly competing with yours (though still competing to a degree since it seems likely that picking one would exclude the other since the builds will be fairly similar).
Not to worry, the knight character I went for in the end is a Zabrak Guardian Protector/Niman Disciple. Once I have the details of my submission for Padawan ready I will post both of them.

Sounds interesting.
Here's a Jedi Padawan Seer/Ataru Striker (mostly done):
Alright, here are my two submissions. They are, in fact, one and the same character. The difference is that the first is a Padawan Learner still, while the second has passed his tests and is a Jedi Knight.
The character is a Zabrak Guardian with the Protector and Niman Disciple specializations. The two versions are, unsurprisingly, similar in many ways. The Jedi Knight has plowed deeper into the Protector tree to get FR2 while the Padawan has opted for higher Will off the bat and to go down the Protector tree to the Circle of Shelter talent, which will be very useful to keep his friends alive.
Here is the Padawan Learner, Argon Zur
Here is the Jedi Knight, Argo Zur
I have no preference which character I play, which ever suits the campaign and the rest of the PCs best is fine by me.
EDIT: I updated both characters with small changes on 23. October.
Edited by KymrelThere are more than a few Niman Disciples as far as I can tell. I suppose it was to be expected seeing as how it is the only lightsaber spec to include the Force Rating talent.
Edited by FCastorPractitioners of Niman were by far the most common at the start of the Clone Wars, so that is very accurate according to the Canon ![]()
But by my count there are three out of 10 submissions, so that's not too bad. Although that's counting the two clones, so more accurately 3 out of 8 Jedi builds are Niman. But with Makashi and Shii-Choo practically out (neither has reflect) that is not really that much at all!

Bless you.
That's a powerful Jedi, though I think that the Force powers seem a little weak without the upgrades.
Was thinking about how far to take upgrades and realized that the first few session would provide plenty of XP for getting a couple of upgrades to fill them out. To portray a full Jedi from the get-go it's more about options than it is power. The appearance of being able to do a lot of different stuff as opposed to a couple of big showing things can be roleplayed to imply a lot of force powers but situational failures, giving the illusion of an accomplished Jedi without needing to spend the points all up front.
She a Knight or a Padawan? Because she seems to be missing the prerequisite Force powers for the Knight, i.e. Enhance, Influence and Move, the last of which seems to also need at least two upgrades to count.

****, I forgot about this! Will have to review after work.
Niman Disciple is also a great choice for more force-focused Jedi starting in Seer or Sage because Niman Technique lets them utilize their main characteristic with Lightsaber checks and provides an easy way of getting Parry and Reflect.
And a more advanced character can make excellent use of Draw Closer and Force Assault.
As the background says, commander of Clone troops - not a general. She's a padawan. The "full Jedi" was more about how she appears than how she is. The critical flaw in her character (which is directly related to her emotional strength/weakness) is that she sees the role of a Jedi as a provider of support and not as a warrior. As such, while she bolsters her troopers to do well, she herself is less capable of directly taking action. Her resistance to take up arms is part of her commitment to the Jedi being protectors of peace, not soldiers (as Mace Windu commented in Episode 2) - this makes her Discipline/Obstinateness Morality kick in.
To be ready for her Knighthood she needs about 45 XP, so a couple/three sessions, but I'm not that worried, as for her to emotionally be ready for Knighthood she'll need to accept that she must take up her lightsaber and force powers and directly commit to war - something she wrestles with philosophically.
If I was going to start as a Knight (because the apprentice slot got filled) it's easy enough to drop the FR 3 (25 points from the 2nd Force Rating upgrade in Sage), which automatically invalidates the Protect/Unleash (20 points for basic power) and the spend said 45 points on the boring old Influence/Move/Enhanced trifecta to be Knight level.
Edited by KylaI personally don't get how Influence is a Knight-level requirement. Sense, Enhance, Move - those are all powers I could imagine a fledgling Padawan receiving training in. IIRC, that's pretty much what Yoda covered with Luke. But Influence?
"You don't want to sell me death sticks. You want to go home and rethink your life."
I am guessing those four powers are the most iconic, which is why they are prerequisites if you want a character who is not just Knight-level, but actually a Jedi Knight.
Basically, unless I am mistaken, the various requirements are for being a Jedi Knight, not for being a Padawan (both are Knight-level XP-wise).
