idea for sabotage

I think it would be cool of new waves came out with sabotage cards. These cards could be limited to one per list (like commanders) and would target only a SINGLE ship. They could do something like cause ships to start with hull/shield damage, up to half of a ship's squadron total (rounded up) start with a damage, reduce a single yaw value on a single speed, reduce a maximum speed, reduce engineering, alter a ship's armament color, etc. Any one else have any thoughts about this?

I think this could work as an objective say - saboteurs flew into the enemy hangar and damaged the ships. Now they must be destroyed. Card reads - After deploying ships and squadrons the first player must place x sabotage cards on his ships where x is the amount of squadrons your enemy has minus the amount of squadron you have.

It could be deadly in the hands of a rebel player and encourages the imperial player to use squadrons (without forcing him to).

Before an enemy ship is dealt a faceup damage card, you may search the damage deck for a card with the damage control, comm noise, or shield failure critical effect. Shuffle the rest of the deck and place the card you chose on top of the deck.

I just chose a random three crit effects. The idea is to sieve out potent effects that are not high in card count(i.e. only 2 cards in the damage deck, low probability of drawing them)

This would make madine a specs ops commander that can cripple ships in a specific manner/playstyle
