Interesting, no Luke. Love the Cylon meets Death Star....

In the credits but not in the artwork.

The Force Awakens.. Guest Starring Mark Hamill ;)

They wanna keep Luke secret as much as possible.

Maybe because he is actually the leader of the Knights of Ren. Don't want to give away the fact that he is the Big Baddy.

He's probably going to die early on if he isn't already dead. Force Ghost Luke will be this trilogy's Obi-Wan Kenobi.

I'm fairly certain he has a relatively minor role in Episode 7, and then a much larger one in Episodes 8 & 9. I wouldn't bet on Luke dying in this one, since one of the reasons J.J. Abrams signed on to direct/produce was the question "Who is Luke Skywalker?"

I'm betting Solo will die in this one though.

I'm 99% sure that's the only way they got Ford to sign up for it, since that's something he's wanted since ep. VI...

So...Death Star III? Not sure if I'm over-joyed at that. We already have one repeat of epic space battle to destroy planet killing space station. Hopefully it's inclusion is somewhat original.

No Luke I'm assuming simply because what he looks like will reveal a plot point.

Or who was?

Is that our first look of Leia?

Exactly my first thought! Does this not shock or scare anyone else?!?!

These movies really should be about Luke. I-III are Obi-wan's story. IV-VI are about Anakin. VII - IX should be about how Luke finished the work his father started. How is the Force brought back into the galaxy? Will the Jedi Order be restored, or will it be something else?

Is that our first look of Leia?

No, we saw General Leia in the behind the scenes video a few months ago.

I-III were Anakin, IV-VI were Luke, these will be the next generation of Skywalker(s). The saga movies we know are the story of the Skywalker family as confirmed by Kathleen Kennedy.

I wonder of the Skywalker this one is about is a Jedi .... or can even use the Force.

I sincerely hope it's Rey Skywalker.

It's a super weapon belonging to the Resistance.

:o

Worries me about the quality of the movie. JJ Abrams is known for making homages. I sincerely hope that this isn't to A New Hope what Into Darkness was to The Wrath of Khan.

It wouldn't be JJ Abrams without a DAMNED lens flare hiding just behind Daisy's staff...

But maybe there will be enough lens flares so we will not notice the handle of the Hand-Emancipator...

I'm not opposed to a non Force using Skywalker. It would be an interesting way to continue the Skywalker family story. Though it has been noted that Rey and Finn's last names haven't been revealed as it spoils plot related material. So those two are related to someone big I think.

Another Death Star? Pretty sure we've had those twice before.

So, this guy has done some interesting research into it, and I think that Kylo Ren is the Skywalker this trilogy is about (though I still suspect that Kylo and Rey are being set up for the Jacen/Jaina style storyline).

The meaning of Kyle Ren's name

If the technology exists to build super weapons at such a scale then it is only reasonably to assume that factions won't stop after 2 tries...

and I'd sure as hell design better reactors also.....

According to "The Maker", Star Wars 1-6 were about Darth Vader. Tbh, it feels just like all of them are about Skywalkers in general.
