Does anyone have any experience with (or suggestions for) 2v2 team play? I'd like to play with my kids, but I think they would be less overwhelmed (and have fewer hurt feelings) if they knew from the outset who their ally was, and didn't have to worry about an ally's sudden but inevitable betrayal.
2v2 variant?
Run standard Melee, but teammates sit cross from each other. Allow declaring defenders for your ally. Need combined 25 power.
Thanks! Have you tried that out, or are you extemporizing?
When you say "standard Melee," do you mean also including title cards?
I've done similar before. I personally would throw in the cards because that is what makes it feel like Melee to me. They also add a level of strategy.
Im going to try a 2v2 next time I play however our idea was to play the exact same as 1v1 except two pairs need a combined total of 30 power be it one has 10 the there has 20 doesn't matter.
We're not going to change any other rules like being able to defend for each other or anything like that.
Possible give everyone the power to kneel there house card to redirect a challenge to themselves
I have a rules printout at home for a "Clash of Kings" variant that was co-op. It was a side event at Days of Ice & Fire 2012.

I did a Google search and can't find a record of anyone posting this document online. Is that something that would be possible?
