X-Wing League Play - Season 6

By voidreturn, in X-Wing Organized Play

Starting on Friday, October 23rd 2015, we will be starting the sixth season of the X-Wing league. This league will again have 2 locations on 2 days. The first location will be at Dragon's Lair on Fridays at 7pm until close. The second location will be at Whose Turn Is It Games on Saturdays at 1pm.
That's right, there will be 2 days and 2 locations you can choose to attend!
We welcome new players and experts alike. If you have never played, someone will be on-hand to teach you how to play (you don't need to buy anything if you just want to learn). I (Jason) will be running the league at Dragon's Lair and Thomas will be running the league at WTIIG. Send me a PM if you have any questions or comments.
These are free events and we encourage everyone to show up and have fun!
Format:
Note there are two changes this season: epic points and fellowship prize. See below for more info.
This is a casual league lasting 8 weeks. You will be awarded 3 points for winning a standard (100 point) game, 1 point for losing a standard game, 10 points for winning an epic game, and 6 points for losing an epic game. Additionally, you will be awarded 5 points for teaching a new player how to play and 3 points for learning how to play.
These points will be added up from both locations. At the end of the league, the top point scores will be awarded prize support (but only at 1 store, no double-dipping).
Lastly, we will start tracking fellowship points. If you are not familiar with the system, it's very similar to the same one in use in WizKids games:
[We] believe that players who demonstrate courtesy, helpfulness, friendliness, promptness, and the qualities of sporting play, and who make the tournament more fun for everyone, should be recognized for their contributions.
More importantly, we will recognize you with cold hard plastic. Every week, players will be able to vote for any player in attendance that demonstrates these principles. At the end of the season (the first week of the new season), the player with the most votes will walk away with something special.

Oops, forgot to edit the title. This is in Austin, TX. Sorry for the mistake (can't edit post titles).

Here are the final results. Note I have not received any results from Thomas this season for some reason, so unfortunately, I did not have anything to add for the games played at WTIIG. Hopefully that won't happen in Season 7.
