The most important question: Which target lock letters?

By Rippy, in X-Wing

X for Wedge (king of the X-wings)

T for Wes or Luke (because Target Lock)

F on Biggs (because I feel that a target lock is a fail for him)

FF on Corran with FCS (as a reminder for FCS's effect)

M on Bandit (the hero bandit usually sneaks in a lot of damage and becomes my muscle often.

GG on Keyan (say goodnight to your small base ships!)

V for Vader

LL/other double letters (other FCS equipped ships)

Many others never see the light of day.

I want to thank all of you who use the PP target lock in my honor. I'm very touched!

:D

I recently spent a couple hours putting each letter into their own individual bag. Because I'm that guy, apparently.

T H U G

For me it's always related to pilot name. Luke Skywalker will either use the L or the S. I guess I'd rather do something that can assist gameplay than make immature jokes.

T H U G

L Y F E

I tend to take letters in the last half of the alphabet just to be different than other people to avoid confusion on the table!

V for Vader, D for Drea, B or F for Boba, the letter for IGs, etc. Initials, falling back on last names or double letters in case of collision. Just so it's easier to remember which lock is whose.

Double letters or bust. Nbody uuses them

Always use the X's I have 5 pair with different colors painted on and around them.

P O R K

With P for Porkins

I don't know. But if I ever use Lando as a crew member, I use the number 45 on the ships base. Why, because it is smooth.

What ever spells cool words. ;)

I glued on pics to the regular tokens so that I can tell which are mine. I even got pictures of Luke, Vader, Garven, Dutch, etc.

I've since made some more for Scum and added in generic Rebel and Imperial icons. I just found an image off Google, sized it in MS Word, printed, cut, and used a glue stick.

I use X mostly because, you know: "X marks the spot".

Z's for Headhunters, Y's for y-wings, etc.

The rest of my TL's have tiny matching StarWars decals. I have the Yoda Lock, Luke Lock, Vader Lock and recently I added some Fo' Locks and a BB-8 Lock (reverse side is BB).

I do this too. I use the 99ยข sticker books from Michael's (arts/crafts store) and the stickers made for teacher reward markers (Amazon $4).... they are the PERFECT size- fits just inside the crosshairs so you can see the blue/red.

All my tokens are in one-big-bag. I am already happy when I find a matching pair! Thinking about a solution though, something with small boxes.

I think I get better dice rolls with the core set tokens. I did have one instance where I took a TL token from the Y-Wing kit on my X-Wing and it totally messed up the OS. Had to reinstall.

I'm gonna stick with the Old core TL tokens, even though the FA core set tokens are markedly better.

Yeesh! The power creep eh?

+1 for GG and QQ

The only letter I need.

I made my own. :) 3D printed different colored hexagons that serve as a) ship identifiers instead of numbers and b) target locks. They are awesome.

I painted my TLS to match the bright colors ships and then have gg and mm for my normal ships. Mm just because it comes on the raider only :D

I made the pink ones for Darth Vader. lol

I usually put one on the base and then two on the card (one to identify them and the other to use as a target lock).
