How does Projection Experts literally work?

Like, I can't understand the card. What is it saying?

When I reveal a engi command, I can spend two points to move HOW many shields to another ship?? Two? One?

How have people been finding this card? I can see it being a good 1 or 2 of on a large ship that can get like 4 or 6 engi points.

You can spend 1 or 2 engineering points (from Engineering command). Then you move that number of shields from the ship with Projection Experts to another of your ships with distance 1-5. So if you spend 1 point, you move 1 shield, if you spend 2 pints you can move 2 shields (but both have to go on the same target).

Not sure i understand.

1) Spend up to 2 engineering points (ie 0, 1 or 2)

2) Move that many of your shields to another ship (ie 0, 1 or 2)

Thats it.

For the other question, i find it awesome.

"You may spend up to 2 engineering points to move that many shields from your ship to a friendly ship at distance 1-5.""

OH. Ok. so you can move 1 or 2 shields. okay. okay. I get it now. This is where I wish FFG worded like MTG.

Ok, so how have you all been using it? Who's the medic??

I use my MC80 as a fleet support ship with Home One and Projection Experts. Give it Raymus and you can just give 2 shields to any ship without reducing your shields. It makes that goldfish running as a screen/target for the MC80 to live a lot longer.

I plan on using it on Neb B with with Raymus. The redemption title either on the same ship or next to it depending upon build.

Sounds like i can spend an engineer token and dial to get 6 engineering points on a bigger ship, spend 2 to send 2 to another ship and then spend the last 4 to recover those 2. If that is the case this card is pretty bonkers.
