Anyone played a 3-Cr90/Neb list?

I was messing about with battlescribe and saw this is 394 what say you guys any good or no way

3x CR90 Corvette B

NK-7 Ion Batteries •Tantive IV

NK-7 Ion Batteries Jaina's Light

NK-7 Ion Batteries Dodonna's Pride

3x Nebulon-B Support Frigate

Enhanced Armament, Admiral Ackbar, Redemption

I think you're going to split opinion with it...

Some people tend to go "That's a Ton of Red Dice in every direction."

Some people tend to go "You're an Idiot for expanding on Neb-B Side Arcs, go Slaved Turrets instead." I will Iterate that on Salvation, you're probably best to have Slaved there instead so you're using its Front Arc instead of its Sides, even if they are More dice, the ability triggers better still...

Personally, I don't like it because of the Squadron Vulnerability... Its going to be good against Ships, but there's almost nothing there but Speed to try to avoid bombers, and trying to keep *ALL* of those things with speed up is going to be a potential nightmare.

It's an interesting list. I can promise it being fun to play at least and a bit of a head scratcher to fight.

Ackbar is great but the most obvious change would be MM for better defense and the CR90Bs don't gain anything with the more red dice from the side which only has 2 blues when you want to be shooting as many blue dice as possible.

And just in-case you didn't know: Ackbar add dice to the dice pool so you can't throw throw red dice unless you are able to throw your blue dice.

Otherwise I agree Drasnighta. You'll be weak to mass squadrons or groups of rogue squadrons.

As for Ackbar and Nebs, I had been messing with the idea for a while since I love nebs. I'm just not sure on the bonus for them. I haven't tested it out yet since I'm having fun with the MC30 and MC80

All in all:

I hope to see more interesting lists to possibly try out or to get me thinking. It doesn't matter if this list is good or bad but because it's odd and makes new ideas form.

It's more about the CR90s using the ion cannons to remove tokens. They were not a factor for Ackbar if that makes sense. The Nebs should have a easy time blasting ships without defense to tokens.
