Painting imperial TIEs in first order colours

By D503, in Star Wars: Armada

I have 14 stands of various TIEs infront of me. Should I paint them in standard Imperial grey and black, or First Order black and White? I'll post photos.

I painted my 2x VSD and GSD dark grey with a few panels of yellow/black 'Iron Warrior' stripes.

Mix it up.

I also did something for one of each squadron type so my aces have a special look.

I kinda want the Imperial TIEs to form a faceless swarm, but given that there is a 100% certainty of an armada scale first order SD coming in the future, I may paint Mauler Mithiel and 3 stands of TIEs in First order colours.

Are the black/white TIEs 'special forces' colours, and the normal TIEs still blue-gray? Or are all TIEs in Star Wars movies from now on going to be in the black/white colour scheme?

I did the six core set stands in basic imperial, i figure ill do the 4 from fighter packs in first order when i get around to them, if that helps.

I painted one of my TIE squadrons in First Order colors, but I've kinda regretted it. Don't care much for the reverse look myself, and I never use that squadron as a result.

just planning on regular imperal grey/black and imperial guard red/black for the interceptors (look sexy & intimidating).
Perhaps a full Black Squadron with Howlrunner with glossy finish, something like this:

the inverse black/white doesn't look that intimidating. Rather metro, weird, silly (you name it)
And they would be very easy to spot in battle.

(after edit:) But apparently the First Order have painted them white/black. Because these First Order TIe Fighters are upgraded versions of the original, I half expect them to appear in a separate expansion, because of the upgrades. Perhaps they have shields or something and would have more than 3 hitpoints
