Could anyone who already got their hands on the Rogues and Villains expansion tell me the scale of the 1-ship squadrons? How long is the YT-1300 for example?

Could anyone who already got their hands on the Rogues and Villains expansion tell me the scale of the 1-ship squadrons? How long is the YT-1300 for example?

They are probably not to scale, given that the individual fighters would probably be too small to manipulate if they were.

They are not to scale with the ships, squadrons already out or each other. They are just representative of the craft they are supposed to be.

I thought as much, but I am thinking about getting some custom 1-ships like the Ghost from shapeways and I would like to know if they are the right scale with the Rogues and Villains. So again, can anyone tell me how long the YT-1300 from the set is?

Thx, Leifer. Your pic and the pics from the announcement for the Rogues and Villains helped a lot. The basic scale seems to be 1:1200 for the 1-ship squadrons. But they are not even really to scale when compared to each other. The Hound's Tooth for example should be 1/3 larger than the Falcon, and the minis seem to be about the same size.

Yes, as soon as I also know the proper length of the Falcon (for example) I might have to change my models from Shapeways.

Currently I scaled them by placing the image of the Rogues and Villains falcon over the image of an X-Wing squadron and keeping the same size for the base.

With that I roughly got the size of the falcon. But I have to idea if they are accurate or not. In that picture the Outrider looks very small.

Thank you for your reply, Mel. I calculated the size of the falcon to be 29mm, which is nearly exactly 1:1200 scale. This also fits with the size of the outrider, as it is only 20 meters long, in comparison to 34,75 meters of the falcon. But I guess we'll see when wave 2 hits the shelves.

Hmm, I should try to get my measurements right. The squad base is of course 34mm in diameter, not 44mm. This makes the falcon about 21mm in length, which is about 1:1650. At this scale the Ghost should be about 26mm in size which is very close to the one you posted above. Thank you for the picture.
