Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions with what to replace Tarn with?

I've been flying something similar myself, but with Esege as the K-wing (the only thing better than handing out 360 Advanced Protons is doing it after a barrel roll), and I'm torn on the third ship, too. I've been using Biggs for the most part, in an effort to prevent people shooting at the big crosshair Nera has painted on her. A couple of Z-95s for blocking purposes might be a good idea, too.

What's wrong with Tarn? Integrated Astro is coming out soon...

Good ol' tactician b-wing maybe? Or BSP w/ FCS + E2 + intel agent?

Green w/ Push, Pred, autos & chardaan?

There's the ol' faithful gold w/ BTL-A4 + R3-A2 + TLT/ion turret

I like the list a lot, but it looks like it could struggle against high PS ships, especially if the K wing is out of range to drop a mine on their face.

Jake with chardaan refit, PtL, VI - A solid, cheap ace

Roark Garnet with TLT - Shooting at PS12 would ensure Nera shoots at least one APT, but the K will be SLAMing a lot, so there could be better options...

2 Talas helps getting more guns on the table and out PS Golds and Obsidians.

All in all I think Tarn is a great choice, and there aren't many ships better than him in this price range.

I don't think there IS anything wrong with Tarn at all, he preformed well against 3 amigos and tanked a lot more shots than I had previously given him credit for being able to do. My other option was the good 'ole stresshog but I think that will go down a lot quicker than Tarn does
