I dunno.
Zeta Ace is very much a 'generic snubfighter' hunter, and predator leaves his action free for that barrel roll. Against a PS1-2 generic, with predator providing its full benefit, you should be pretty **** effective, and you don't need that second action 100% of the time - firstly Zeta Ace is tougher than an interceptor thanks to his shield, and secondly if you're worried about having an evade token you can take a Comms Relay and carry one with you from a previous turn.
Even with both you're still only the price of a Push The Limit Saber Squadron.
