3 Jukes and a Jerk

When Wave 8 hits, I'm really looking forward to running this:

3 Omega Pilots w/ Comm relay + Juke (22 x 3)

Carnor Jax w/ PtL, title, autos & Hull = 34

100

Will be interesting to see if the Omegas can outperform an accuracy corrector advanced. They have a better dial but 2 guaranteed hits on 2 dice is hard to beat. Juke certainly helps (especially at range 1) and with comm relay, perhaps they will become slightly more durable?

Ouch. I didn't even think of using it with Corran Horn...as if he needed to get any better!

I am really excited for Juke as well. I think an Omega with Comm and Juke will be equal to an AC Advanced, it will just be playstyle preference. 4 ship imperials is going to be a solid choice in wave 8. The Omega, TAP, and Advanced are all solid options in that point range.

It was Etahn and a generic with the EPT droid. Third ship was Tarn Mison with R7 droid. It was crit city.

I'll quote a previous post I made which summarized my experience:

His list was:

Blackmoon Squadron Pilot [R2-D6, juke, sensor jammer]

Etahn [R4-D6, juke, sensor jammer]

Tarn Mison [R7 astromech]

For those unfamiliar with Juke:

My list:

Academy Pilot x 3

Howlrunner [hull upgrade, swarm tactics]

Deathrain [conner net, cluster mines, extra munitions, advsen, autothrusters]

I managed to kill Tarn, but aside from Conner Net and Cluster Mine damage, the TIEs were unable to deal any damage to the E-wings which were evading every turn. To be fair, I was running a mini-swarm which might just be the worst matchup for this list since Sensor Jammer was activating 4+ times per round while I relied on green dice for survival and was extremely susceptible to Etahn's ability.

All kidding aside, I don't think this revolutionizes E-wings or anything. But Juke seems to be a really useful card and it was refreshing to see it on two E-wings spamming evade every turn. It will be interesting to see it on some other ships that we may have forgotten about. Personally, I think it could do very well on Fat Hans with Gunner or the Mist Hunter - both are ships that the evade action does a lot defensively, and Juke allows you to maintain some offensive boost for only 2 pts.

Juke on will probably Omegas gets much less effective as they die off because they have a low pilot skill. It will be hard to trigger Jule when you are getting shot at every round before you have a chance to shoot. The Inquisitor is going to be the king of Juke. Omega Leader will be nasty with Juke and Com Relay although 26 points are a lot to spend on a TIE Fighter.

Omega Leader is almost entirely superior with PTL

given his ability requires a TL and you never want to leave any Tie on naked dice, it's PTL to token up (or arc-dodge) after the TL every time

at most, I'd throw weapons guidance on top to overcome the fact that Omega's not spending its TL for mods. 26 points is a little steep, but that little Tie is a monster for the cost

Juke is going to operate on the same logic as Crackshot, that is if your ship can already replicate PTL/Predator you can feel free to take it (only you have to be able to evade, as well)

so far it's only A-wings, though the E-wing may provide an alternative thanks to either FCS or targeting astromech

there's also Vader, who gets two native actions, AC Advance and the Tie/v1 which seems tailor-made to enable Juke

for Scum, Misthunter or bust

I think Darth Vader will be very much fun with Juke, Tie/x1, ATC and Engine Upgrade or Stealth Device.
