House Rule Fun: The "Real" Millennium Falcon

By pickirk01, in X-Wing

This is totally for fun, I am in no way saying this is what the Falcon should be for competitive game play.
Hawkstrike, thanks for the idea.

The Falcon already has dual quad turrets. I'm surprised there isn't some fanboy insisting that it should get two attacks each round in different directions.

Can use TL's to reroll, or trigger Han's focus ability.

Luke says you may not perform any more attacks so you try to shoot any lower agility ship with your 1st shot and save the 2nd for the Soontir's of the world.

With Crit immunity, Damage Mitigation and regen, you probably have an effective HP total of around 30-35, and Leia can let you pull the unexpected white K-turn as you near the board edge.

I am totally gonna try this at home.

Again, this should not be taken as me advocating this for actual tournament play. PWT's are just fine the way they are.

Ok fine, here is probably how I would build a super competitive "Ridiculous Real" Falcon

If you're going for full accuracy you'd also have to ban Gunner and the Luke Skywalker crew, and implement traverse mechanics.

Not to mention your Engine Upgrade should be discounted two points, with the qualifier: Action: when you use this upgrade, roll 1 evade die. On an [evade] result, the upgrade does not function and you lose your action.

It should also have a System slot. It's got a big ol' dish on the top for a reason.

That's the hyperdrive though. Which doesn't come into play in the game.
