Looking at it from that angle, you should be able to hang pretty much any ship you want from that thing.
Edited by DarthEnderXThe Gozanti, the phantom and the Inquisitor's Tie are all painted. Seems like wave 8 is underway, and the Gozanti is finished. Could be that the Gozanti will be on the boat soon.
God, that Gozanti is beautiful...

It's certainly been at the printers long enough.

Yeah but the defenders would be upside down 0/10 worst design ever!

How exactly do you tell if something is upside down in space?

Well the top hatch being on the opposite side from the docking collar is one way.

They would be upside down relative to the Gozanti. You fix orientation in space relative to other things.

The gate is down.
Well gee sorry that they couldn't reinvent the Gozanti maglock system just for our miniatures to fit in a lore friendly way.
You gotta' give and take a bit, guys. What did you expect- putty?

And you won't get dizzy or have a head rush either... the pilots are proballey having a party in them cockpits safe as they can be under that huge space-whale.

Given the collar width, my guess is you'd have issues with the Bomber, Punisher, Defender, and Phantom. Potential issues with the Interceptor.

i just really like the Gozanti ship over the raider....! wunderbar!!
Defenders have hyperdrives. Thus they do not need a tender ship.

The "enemy's" gate is down. Technically your home gate would be up then. =)

True, true. And with strike missions and combat sorties they can run next to Advanceds and Devastators with no transport.
However, they don't have life support, and whether or not the flight suits have food straws or diapers in them, I guarantee that any mission longer than a day is going to require some down-time for your pilots.
Edit. And, just in case of counter-argument.
It's not unreasonable to posit a situation wherein a planet-side base is not an option, and so the mini-carriers present a cheap and mobile support alternative to a full Star Destroyer. A Gozanti with 4 Advanceds or Defenders could monitor 5 baseless systems simultaneously and still be cheaper than most of the larger carrier options. In the outer rim, a fully equipped Advanced or Defender could engage multiple rebel or pirate Headunters, tie-down a YT or YV series slaver or smuggler, and jump back to the carrier to warn of any larger force.

The hyperdrive gives a nice bit of flexibility. But! If the mission is more than- say- an hour away, pilots would probably like to have the ability to stretch their legs before combat.

Have you seen Rebels? The TIE cockpit offers enough room to stretch.

Well have you held you TIE Fighter minis next to your X-Wing minis? those things are gigantic!

I remember that when the first core set was published, this was a big issue on the BGG forums. The relative scale is equal to the movie models, that's the long and short story.

Give it 30 minutes or so, the air you brought will get kinda stale with no life support. 10 Minutes if you brought friends. And 5 if your dinner party involves candles or cooking. Better to skip dessert.

TIE Fighters don't even have life support. This is why they wear space suits.
Besides the fact that they're all faceless Empire goons...

Baron Rudor has a face.
And it is Rebel propaganda that TIEs lack life support. Oddly the Rebels cartoon shows TIEs are able to accommodate multiple crew members with no sealed flight suits. But then everyone knows that.
