Minion Design

A couple of questions about Minion Design.

I have been trying to find some rhyme or reason to a few things in the minions available to use in the books and the Card sets.

One in particular is Wound threshold

At first I thought I was seeing that Minions would get a base of 3 + their brawn.

But then there are a few that seem to have a base of 5+ brawn or 4 plus brawn.

Is the difference based on racial differance off of 10?So a Race that has a base of 11 Pls brawn will have a Minim that has 4+brawn? and a Race with a 9 base will have a minion with 2 + brawn?

Also, In the Decks, Some of the Cards show Skills with a number in () after it and some don't.

Are the ones showing a Skill with no Number mean they don't have a rank? or do they have a rank of (1) and it was just an error in not showing a number?

I have trouble with the thought that they would put the skill on the card but mean they have no ranks.... They could jsut have easily put no skill there or a (0), to indicate any skill used is just Ability based.

Minions only have skills in groups, so they would have no skill if there is only one of them.

I don't know what criteria they used to create the minion Wounds, but I don't think it needs to conform to a formula, rather what you need it for, e.g.: whether you want some lowlifes that a diplomat can one-shot with a pistol, or want some tough baddies that will hold up for a few rounds. I love the adversary decks, but I usually tweak the wounds on the fly.

I believe the Order 66 had a show on the topic. Unfortunately, I haven't listened to it.
