I didn't loiter in front of the display long, I wasn't at Spiel for X-Wing but for other tabletop awesomeness, but I did squeeze these two pictures in.

That's a really good-looking carrier.

If they're still just showing the 3D printed prototypes for Wave 8, I'm thinking it's going to be a LONG time before wave 8 is released.

That carrier is going to devour the GR-75 and I cannot wait.

Also it looks like the TIEs have to fit into it upside down but it looks really good with the docking chutes attached over the cockpits like that.

Or it is just easier and they are saving production models for actual sales. It's really still up in the air. Phantom and TIE P are painted now.

Based on that pic if the gozanti, i do have two minor complaints about the sculpt:

One: the lower canon should be a single barrel i believe.

Two: are there not supposed to be docking hatches on each side beside where the fuselage juts out (part with the window)? We do see the Ghost docked in that area.

They'll need the actual production models for approval. I figure if they had the production models, it would be odd not to display them.

They always do, if they have them.

Maybe production models are in the US and not in Europe for Essen ? Not enough information for any of us sadly.

Still pending Licensor Approval.

They had the latest stuff for Imperial Assault and Armada, amongst others. Not really a presence though, these displays were next to the Asmodee Business Lounge and one of the shops but Asmodee didn't really have a booth with room to demo games that I saw. That surprised me.

Looking great!

:)

Interesting looking support for the Ghost.

Like that carrier

That Gozanti looks awesome. The lower tier Huge ship to square off with the GR-75. I foresee some cool games.

Gozanti looks awesome!

It looks like the same models from Gen Con. The Ghost is still that different, unpainted grey colour and the stand it is on is not clear plastic.

Good photo sniping Dagonet!
