I'm thinking of this as a list:

Patrol leader, Darth Vader, gunner= 48

saber squad pilot, ptl, autotrusters x2= 52 (26 each)

Do you guys think this list will be competitive in the current meta?

Competitive? no I don't think so.

The Decimator died with the addition of new ordnance options in Wave 7, and the introduction of the Twin Laser Turret. And due to the changes for MOV after you've used Vader a few times you've given your opponent half points, and ensured that it dies even faster.

Depending on your local meta, triple squint aces or Ace + mini swarm / ace + 3 support ships, Palpmobile + Soontir & Vader is the current trend.

I think it can be competitive, but probably better to go with the Emperor instead of Vader + Gunner. Your sabres become all the more potent and if you use the decimator carefully, it will be hard for TLT to kill it fast (as long as you don't fly into all their arcs at once or if you find yourself in the thick of it, use it as a blocker---even if you don't touch all of them, R1 means you take less damage, possibly none).

Hmm, yeah, I think it has potential... this might be my new imperial list!
