Cheebo.

Chewie + Leebo has been my go to list for a few weeks now, and I feel it is the list that gives me the best shot at doing well. Granted, this is a small time store tournament, but I'd still like to do well.

My version of Cheebo differs slightly from others. Not really looking for a critique on the list, but rather how I should approach some of the better known matchups.

For starters, my list is:

Chewbacca
-Predator

-Millenium Falcon

-Recon Spec.

-Jan Ors

Leebo
-Predator

-Mangler Cannon

-Outrider

-Recon Spec.

So, any long time Cheebo flyers out there? Some of the lists I was looking for advice against were: Brobots, Fat Han, Super Dash, RAC/Fel, TIE Swarm, etc. Pretty much any advice at all against any list whatsoever would be fantastic. Thanks!!!

well, it's a very average list, and I mean that in the best way possible. Neither any outrageous strengths, or outrageous weakness. Jan can actively give an evade where it's needed at any moment, and there isn't a spot where you can be shot and not shoot back.

As long as you don't get blocked, you should be good.

I hope you meet a lot of 4 TLT builds I hate Chewbo with passion.

4 TLTs are your worst matchup, but not unwinnable. Fly agressively, your large base gives you the ability to be faster than them and stick in their range 1 holes. Make them split their fire. You really have to work to be successfull here. Swarms also are pretty bad for you, since you despise being blocked and are missing the EU to dodge them. Drag those through the asteroids to again split their fire.

Anything else is pretty much even. You force them to roll green dice and either win or lose, depending on wether they managed to focus their fire enough. ACD Phantoms are going to hurt you badly, but those have become somewhat rare.

I prefer PTL on Chewie when Jan is onboard, especially with the title. With Predator, Jan only works for Leebo, but with PTL, you also have the option to double evade the Falcon.

You lose a little punch from Chewie unless your action is TL and tied to greens more but with his crit immunity it's a very durable Chewie.

And pray no one bought a tlt list you'll have to face.

Absolutely but its a choice when the points have been paid for both recspec and the title. With predator, each turn you choose with upgrade card to use depending on the situation.

Just wanted to throw the ptl option to evade-focus-evade or TL-focus-evade depending on the level of incoming fire into the mix.
