Only One Limited In Play Question

By paganeagle2001, in General Discussion

Okay, read the rules and it says only one limited card is allowed in play, but......

Is this just for characters or for locations as well?

By this I mean, can you play a limited character and a limited location at the same time or is it one or the other in play.

Newbie question I know, but others may also be wondering about this.

All the best.

I believe the "Limited" keyword means you can only play one "Limited" card per turn, and not so much as only one out in play at a time. As for characters, you can only have one "Unique" character out at a time, usually marked by a small symbol by the respective name of that character.

Thank you, you anew is have to start somewhere. Lol.

All the best.

A clarification on "Unique" cards. Only one copy of a card can be in play. You can only have one Jamie Lannister. But you could have Jamie and Cersei.

Additional copies of a Unique can be played as a Duplicate, though (see the RRG).

This is what I meant to say with my description of "Unique." Thank you for clearing up my mess.
