Voidstate's Squadron Builder: Dials on Printouts

By voidstate, in X-Wing

Hi All

I uploaded a new feature to my builder today: you can now add manoeuvre dial tables to your printouts, like so:

manoeuvre.png

See it in action here: http://xwing-builder.co.uk/view/245934#view=full&manoeuvres=show

(If the dials look wrong, you may need to refresh a few times to clear your cache.)

Enjoy!

Oh that's a great addition. Well done sir!

We love you Voidstate!!! (seriously, nice touch!)

I've been p[laying around with a few listsa this week, and each time I've noticed something new added to the squadron builder.

With all the new news articles coming thick and fast, that can't be an easy job keeping on top of everything - thanks again voidstate for all your hard work!

Awesome Thanks. I love the way you can split out the hulls and shields to eliminate the need for tokens. Perfect.

I see one Defender title, are you going to be able to add both?

Totally agree! Great job! Now about that Tie Defender/x7 title? It's still missing, but the card in on the main news thread for Imperial aces

As always keep up the great work!

Great idea ! Congratulation !

I am thinking to improve my printout feature for a while, perhaps I will use this idea...

Bye

Fab

You should have the flip turns use the same formats as the regular maneuvers(i.e. K-Turns in the middle, S-Loops on either side of the K-Turn, and T-Rolls on either side of the S-Loops.

Nice feature... and I wish I could use Voidstate's builder, but I don't do Facebook logins for anything, so... I'll just look at the pretty stuff every now and then...

Actually; you don't need to sign in with Facebook or anything like that to use the squadron builder itself or print lists out - you can sign in, mostly to save your lists etc, but you don't need to.

I jump on all the time to work on ideas for builds or just to check costs on ships/upgrades/combinations etc. It's a fantastic site!

Without being able to see what I have in my collection... I won't use it very much. As I said, it's pretty, but I have a list builder that does all that and I don't have to use Facebook. I was also curious about the stats function over time.

Wow, another nice improvement to the already-best squadbuilder around!

The only thing I really wish would be 'fixed' would be inclusion of the squadron ID...at the moment, it only prints out if you get the link to 'share' your squadron, and view that link, and print it from there. Why can't I get the ID of it when I print right from the builder page?

Thanks for adding the Tie/x7 title and Long Range Sensors. On the LRS however, you list being able to take it with torpedoes OR missiles.

It's should say Torpedoes AND Missiles.

You must have both icons to equip it.

Thanks,

P.S. - I tried leaving a message with the site, but it's not working for a few days now.

Thanks. I'll add it to my list.

If you find any other bugs, you can leave a message at the Facebook community page - https://www.facebook.com/xwingbuilder/- or send me a message on these forums or email me (my email's on the about page on the builder).

Cheers

Fergus

Likewise. I would love to use Voidstate's builder but without a non-Facebook log in option it just doesn't do the job I want it to.

that is just brilliant

Do you know how much work and administration is saves not having to manage a user database. and as the site is free anything that save the admin time and money has to acceptable

Having run forums and working in IT yes, I have a fair idea how little effort managing a user DB takes. There are other oAuth options than Facebook only that can achieve the same result too.

I have run forums and am also in IT, which is exactly why I do not want to use Facebook. I doubt it is the maintenance as much as the security, and am completely sympathetic, I just don't use Facebook for any kind of login.
