We all have are squad builds we like to fly, but what is your favorite ship model to look at, in other words what ship do you think looks the best, whether you fly it or not? I'll include wave 8 in this as well as epics.
My 2 favs are the 2400 and the jumpmaster.... The 2400 because I've always been a fan of corellian ships and the jumpmaster because I love the paint scheme on it.
For ships that I didn't know befor X-Wing I will say the TIE Punisher. Ships from the OT either the A-Wing or the TIE Bomber, although the Lambda shuttle cuts it close and just in general it probably is the T-70 X-Wing - fantastic paint scheme and the split wings have really grown on me since holding it in my hands and having it stand on my desk for some time. It just is a well made miniature.
TIE Interceptor. Always been a favourite of mine, looks sleek and vicious like an Imperial ship should. 
Quite partial to the TIE Defender and the trusty old Y-Wing as well.
TIE Defender, first blister I bought after the Core Set.
Close second would be the TIE Punisher its just a beast of a minature.
Hmmm...maybe we should keep a tally here? See if there's a clear peoples choice or if the loves spread pretty evenly between the miniatures

It's a shame that the coolest ship doesn't have a very good model.
It looks a lot better if you repaint it. the stock paint job is very 'flat'. I boosted the colours on mine and they look loads better.
Personal fave looking ships are also luckily the ones i play most as they fit my play style. A wings and Tie ints.
Large ship - tie between the YT2400 and YV666
Small ship - tie defender
Nothing screams classic Star Wars more to me than a transport flanked by a handful of Y-Wings and X-Wings going through a tidal wave of fighters and interceptors.

But if I really had to choose.... I think I would go with the Interceptor... or the A-Wing.... really depends on the mood... So I will say a A-Winterceptor?

Defender nothing comes close to looking as aggressive.
A-wing nimble little b****** that screams you can't hit me.
TIE Bomber. Love the tanky TIE look. I need to buy more.

Z-95. Looks practical, no frills. Workhorse. I just wish I liked the Rebel unique pilots more.

Small base: T-70 x-wing. Just an improved design over an original, that was a good looking ship.
Large base: Aggressor. Even though it looks like a Gerber multi-tool, it has a sinister and sleek look to it.
Scyk and Khiraxz. Fantastic, simple designs, great sculpts, cool colour scheme.
Was the humble TIE fighter, but now the TIE/FO. No other ship evokes the same *feels* as the stock TIE Fighter.
