Can you drop bombs on other bombs aND can you drop the over opticals

For example I drop Mt proximity mine then the following round drop a proton bomb when I revel my dial

Bombs only care if they've been placed on a ship.
You can stack as many on each other as you like.

Which is all kinds of awesome actually. I should try to do that without detonating them.
