If you're gunning for TLTs you don't need gunner, so I would drop that. As some anti-ace insurance I would consider picking up APLs instead of engines, and just blocking aces all day long. I came up with my own version of dual deci awhile ago. It used Kenkirk and Oicunn, will do some digging for it.
With no Agility, the Deci's are going to just eat damage every turn. With a targeted attack pattern from 4x TLT Ys, they're going to chew the Deci's apart in 4 or 5 turns. Having two 3-dice attacks just is going to inflict the damage on to 4 Ys before they eat you alive.
I dunno, I have the PS and Boost to control the range of the engagement. Gunner is more applicable for high AGI opponents (and up to four attacks can wear out even Fel's stack of tokens).
But yes, if all four TLTs have shots, that's still a Decimator down in two rounds. The Decimators can take down a Y just as fast though, and first.
If you can get in close, you have a reasonable chance. As long as you can stop one turret shooting by being at range 1, your damage output matches his - if a few criticals go your way, you stand a fair chance.
Versus aces - two turrets with gunner stand a fair chance of landing a hit even against a squint.
The real weakness is against swarms or heavy fighter packs, but hopefully boost should help you spread the damage around. Patrol Leaders can still be blocked, but it's harder to do as PS4 generics can't manage it.
What do we know about TLT Y wings... Lots of dice, cant avoid it all, and they have low Defence dice... what does that sound like...
