I thought it was an excllent homage to the 80s toys and was howling with laughter all the way through... my wife totally didnt get *any* of the references and i think it spoiled a show she normally loves.

But for me it was brilliant and *almost* had me on ebay looking for a 'snake eyes' or 'firefly' action figure but I WILL NOT LET MYSELF OBSESSIVELY COLLECT ANY OTHER TOYS!

I had one of those. They were called roboskulls I think my parents bought it me around the time the 'red shadows' action force range was being discontinued.

Needless to say it served in my star wars games too.

I just remember being dissapointed mine came with the ;old' red wolf which had little articulation and not the 'wild weasel' version that some came with. He was a much cooler figure, always wanted a cobra rattler.

For some reason i always think i was like 11 or so when i had these toys but looking online it seems the 'mini action man' first wave of action force i had came out when i was SEVEN (and i had star wars toys then too). I think the last thing i ever had for AF was a cobra hydrofoil, i think id stopped 'playing' with them by then but thought it was a cool model.

A guy in the uk converted 28mm figures to do a whole range of red shadows, sas force and z force a few years back

Here's another loving awesome tribute to the 80's: Far Cry Blood Dragon!

On xbox one and ps4 they have a toy soldier game that let's you use a ww1 german army, an army based of specter knights it looks, an army based on scifi army men, and an actual rainbow bright army with mlp like ponies and other character from the80s. The dlc let's you really use a gi joe army or a cobra army, or a heman army, or an assassins creed army.

If rainbow bright has g4 poines I will be fighting for her lol, if its g1 - g3 I will pick joes since they get the skystriker, all though the spectral knights look cool.

That game has potential, but I don't get what that assassins creed stuff is doing in there (urgh!) and I'll nitpick that neither Rainbow bright nor masters of the universe are the Original 80's versions... Ahwell. And no transformers (but i understand why we can't have them.) Still this trailer is funny! For ze Kaiser!
