Has anyone had any problems with their k-wings tilting on their stand to one side? I have 2 ks and both tilt at a downwards angle on the right side...maybe I just have bad luck

Boy, I tell ya something TLT is just the most amazing thing I've ever seen! Not a single persons been able to beat a 4TLT list! Why fly anything else? Also why are there only 4,367,348,432,096 topics dedicated to talking about TLT? That seems so low for such a dominant turret! All other builds are completely obsolete! The "meta" has changed forever now and we should bow to are TLT overlords....in fact they should make a modification card for every non turret equipped ship so it can carry TLT...how else will they compete?

Look, TLT is great in all honesty, but can we maybe, just maybe start other topic threads? Sure I don't have to click and read a TLT topic, but its kinda hard when 90% of the topics are dedicated to it. There is alot more interesting things to talk about now in this awesome game other than TLT...talk about the jumpmaster possibly having an asymmetrical dial,talk about your best builds, talk about paint schemes...hell, fell free to razz me about what a dumb topic this is below...at least were not talking TLT!

My other hobby besides X-Wing and keeping my children alive is that I follow climate news very closely. Other than the people who are paid to study it I doubt you'll find many people as deep into the literature as I am.

I find incredible how Jason Beaudoin managed to turn the lame-looking TIE Punisher, the ridiculous-looking K-Wing, and the absolutely disgraceful-looking Mist Hunter into the stunning models we have got (or will soon get for the Mist Hunter). The EU concept art documents and renditions in comics or games for these ships are next to tear inducing. He had to work with depressingly lame concepts, and outdid himself!

The TIE Punisher feels awesome horror when you have it in your hand and on the table. The K-Wing is like a badass mechanical bird of prey flying on 3 pegs (to avoid colliding other ships on 2 pegs with its wings). It's easy to say that most ships in Star Wars have never looked better in miniatures before than they do in X-Wing.

People love the game, and they love to think about it, and talk about it - and even (gasp) protect what they like about it - regardless if their fears have been proven to be warranted. I like to think that this is a sign of a very healthy game.

Because change shakes things up, it is unrealistic to expect everyone who has invested in this game to ignore things that could possibly threaten what they love about it. Whenever something new is added, there is going to be concern, and even fear and certainly uncertainty. Rather than bottle all that up - people come to this community to share what they are concerned about with others who share similar concerns.

There will always be those who either cannot adapt to change, or would prefer to enjoy the game as is for longer than a few months at a time, and they may be the most sensitive, and talkative on those subjects that seem to threaten them personally the most. I say, let them vent. What is the chaff to the wheat? If anyone (edit: things) thinks that there is too much discussion about a particular topic in the forum, starting a thread that discusses other things would be the first step to thinning that out - not simply posting another post about how there are so many posts about whatever.

I find the whole thing amusing, and am not above poking fun at it for a laugh or two.

What you say is 100% true! However, let me throw this generic analogy at you...if you keep talking about the letter A and I'm either tired or bored with it, don't I have to let you know that I'm tired of talking about A? Sure I could say, Hey lets talk about B instead, but once we did, wouldn't you go back to talking about A if I didn't make it known I no longer wanted to?

To connect it to x wing yes, I could've wrote about a different topic and posted it, however it doesn't do anything besides for that one post reduce TLT talk. By writing a TLT post about reducing TLT topics maybe some of you guys out there will say "Hmmm, he's right, there is alot of TLT talk now that I think about it." Then maybe more non TLT threads would show up. At least that was my hope!

Also I just wanted to apologize a little bit for my original post. I was at my lgs yesterday when I posted that and was in a bad mood when I posted it. Reading it today I can see it comes off as a bit snarky, which isn't going to change anybody's opinion on the matter. Again I apologize for the original post, I could've wrote it out alot better.

Also this is obviously just my opinion, I'm sure there is a number of you out there that love talking about TLT and want to continue to. I can respect that, as this forum is for everybody and I do realize TLT is changing the game a number of ways....I just humbly hope for maybe some more variety in the forum in the future!
