A while ago, we played an epic game and one player mentionned that primary weapons needed to be fired before secondary weapons. Try as I might, I can't seem to find any information regarding that.

There are instances where firing the single turbo laser of the Raider first would be preferable to firing the primary (when combined with the gunnery team, you might not need any rerolls from target lock).

So the question is as stated: must primary weapons be fired first or could a Raider fire in any order (aside from firing the primary weapon twice which must be one shot right after the other)?

No.

I've been unable to find a rule to declare an order of firing. In this regard, I would default to the acting player to determine the order of what weapon is fired once a ship is activated.

Just be aware of any cards that say "you cannot attack again this round". If you use those first, it's all over after that.

We're good friends and had a 3 hour window to finish the epic game before the store closed. So this was a case of "meh, let's play for now and find out for sure later"
