Oh, totally understand that it was tongue in cheek, as I hoped my response would have been taken.

Actually, it appears that I fall between the two. Does that make me a Neek or a Gerd?
EDIT: I prefer neek.

Sir, yes sir!
Thanks, Colonel. I'll do my best.
EoE CRB listed as shipping yesterday. Maybe good things will follow this week.
Wow now we are at like 12 or 13 weeks...But it sounds like suff is finally coming out of the log jam as the edge reprint that went in before Strongholds and the adventure finally made it out.
I hold out hope we'll get some news by Monday.
I expect those hopes to be dashed against the rocks, but, whatever.
It's going to get expensive once that log jam finally clears... I count 4 hardcover books, an entire wave of Armada and an X-wing huge ship currently on the boat!
There is a LOT of stuff currently on the boat :/
Strongholds is what I find intriguing. It was supposed to be out per their announcement in Q2. Now maybe it's out in Q4, very mysterious I think.

Obviously, they meant Q2x2.
It went on the boat in July. Which should have had it out late august. But that strike at the ports in my city for 3 months in spring kind of blew the 5 to 6 week boat time out of the water. Not FFGs fault. They have no control over the port.

Oh I don't think anyone's blaming FFG.
People are just wondering what the delay is.
So, is the ports in your city where they actually send the stuff out from then?
Because if there was a strike at the main port for sending things out then I understand why they're delayed.
But there's been no official word.

Initial announcement is irrelevant once we can see it on the upcoming page and track its progress.

August is extremely optimistic for something that went on the boat on July 23rd. 6-8 weeks has been the norm for a long time.

So these books are "made in China," and then shipped to the US where they are then shipped to various distributors. A good majority of the shipping from China goes through Los Angeles. Last spring there was near work stoppage at the ports in LA and things got WAAAAAY backed up. It is reasonable to assume that they are still working their way out of the backup.

Ok, good
Not everyone in the world is aware of that
It is defenitely not reasonable to believe the strikes/port closibg would cause a delay this big.
Also, the fact that FFG have made no statements on this being the case suggests otherwise to me.
The ports didn't completely close either from what I read, it was the port admin wouldn't pay for OT on the weekends for the Longshoremen so product backed up.
I agree also I have a feeling something on FFG's side was in play, as Stronghold was at the printers in Q2, which makes it pretty unlikely a product is going to launch in the same Q it's going to print.
Now of course it might not be all that mysterious, could just be some issue at the printer where it was all messed up. Could be they juggled schedules because decisions were made in regards to what products to focus on before Gencon so the budget wasn't there. Who knows. I like mysterious options better, more fun...
