It's actually a pretty good idea. TLTs will have trouble chewing through thirty hit points, especially behind two evade dice.

Isnt it 32pts (30for fringer+2for APL), so you have 3pts for 3x intel agent and still just 99pts? Easy math easy life!

4 TLT vs 3 BlockORS (or the Fringer Variant) still appear to be in the TLT's favor.
By blocking the TLT, you are adjacent, and so you cannot shoot at them, which is great as they can't shoot at you at Range 1 anyway. They take far less damage here.
Your other 2 ships can target them, but their other 3 ships can target you, unless you managed to block multiple with one.
The TLT doesn't operate very differently without actions than it does with, so the action-denial is out.
Each of their ships should hit with 2 damage a round. Each of your ships has a MAXIMUM of 2 damage a round, before adding in the APL.
Yeah, I'm thinking TLT wins this match up more often than not.

Range 1, they can't shoot. they overlap you, and may take damage, you shoot them. rinse, repeat.
