The idea behind this list came from trying 7 binayre pirates with feedbacks, I started thinking about how it would fly in the current meta and I just don't think ps 1 will cut it.

I think the ps3 zs with the dampeners will give me the jousting ability I need vs other swarms like the 4b z list, I also like ps3 vs all the ps2 tlt ships.

7 pairs of ids also prevent mass bumping and allow me to use 1 or 2 ships to bump my opponent to set up for range 1 shots as well.

I am not sure how it will do vs large base ships but with the change in scoring and my ability to force bump with ID I think I have a shot.

Thoughts?

Very interesting! I think it has potential to do some awesome things. I can't wait to hear how it goes.

I agree that PS 3+ will fare better vs BBBBZ and TLT lists. I'm running this lately:

It's got a little more punch, blocking potential, etc.

I also ran Binary Pilot X5 and 2 marauders vs dash and 2 blues. I won, but I don't think 5 PS1 ships will stand up to BBBBZ or TLT Ys as well.

7 soldiers with dampeners though could be interesting. I think personally I would change one of them out to Kaato Leeachos for some extra shenanigans.

What about dropping ID on one Soldier to get an Ion Pulse missile? Might help out against a EU large base ship that could out-fly your swarm.

So talking with some other people I think im going to try the following

It has the higher P+S that I want for the bbbb, and the tlt list, but the first list seemed like it would struggle vs fell and other arch doggers, so hopefully the 5 feedbacks will be the counter vs them. I also like Torkhil for the tlt and letting me knock an ace to ps 0 during the shooting phase.

I plan on trying this list out tonight and seeing how it goes.

Torkil is real nasty. I used him to get a kill on an annoying Whisper once (an uncloaked Phantom is a nice, fat, vulnerable target), but my personal favorite was against a buddy of mine who likes fielding Jek Porkins with EU and Expose (why, I'm not sure). The six-dice range one attack was about to decimate some poor ship of mine, but Torkil came through and Guri slammed and Adv. Torp into him before he could shoot. I like this list.

I actually read that yesterday, it gave me some pretty good feedback. So far im 2 and 2 with the list, and I think I was flying it wrong so im going to try it for a few more days and see where I end up at.

I beat a X5 Black Squadron Pilot with Crack Shot. + Doomshuttle list with it. I have been running variations on the theme for the past few weeks and haven't lost yet. I think I like this version for its adaptability to my opponents squad.

Really like theTorkil list with all those zappers!! heres something with Moralo(almost as good as Bossk) and a mini swarm of zappers thats quite fun.

It's good vs many lists, but it has some hard counters that tear it to shreds. PS3 swarms and multiple predators, primarily.
