i ran this guy last week with 5 bandits. wanted talas but couldn't afford them due to me running ptl, bb8, EU. after reading peoples comments in here i figure maybe EU is NOT needed so 4 talas and a bandit could be a thing. I won one and lost won vs royal escort btw.

Also, could something life three aces with wedge being one of them be viable maybe?

Edit: whoops, that is supposed to be R4-D6 on Biggs, not the R2 Astro. If you use Z-95s as filler instead of another ace you can have 3 Talas.

Yeah, it might be okay, but I think there are better options, especially since both Han and Wedge despise TLTs. If you want to run a Fat Han nowadays he should be paired with something that can withstand TLT spam.

Bit thin on the hit points, but hits pretty hard, and with careful flying Wedge should last a while. Probably better slowroll with this one, and have Jan take potshots at any Soontirs.

Biggs is basically extra health for Wedge during the opening exchanges - once the moustachioed one bites the fish biscuit, Wedge use BB8 to arc dodge.

The Blues provide a healthy amount of punch and staying power in support.

I've been playing:

Wedge [bB-8, PtL, IA]

Poe [Predator,R5-P9, AT]

Biggs [R2-D6, Determination, IA]

Played a little with what I have on Poe/Biggs, but so far this seems the best. Have debated trying Adrenaline Rush/Weapons Guidance or Cool Hand/Guidance on Poe instead of Predator. We'll see. Pretty happy with Determination on Biggs. Kinda hilarious I'm trying different cheap EPTs =) Cool Hand may also fit the bill.

Biggs doesn't have an EPT slot. And Poe wants to keep his focus token, so weapons guidance won't be usefull all that often. Other than that the list is the one I suggested earlier. 1 point initiative bid doesn't hurt.

Is Determination better than R5, though? Sure, the former lets him discard crits outright, but R5 lets him halve the damage from Direct Hit.

...holy crap that list looks like fun! Now to start practicing with Biggs so I can pretend I know how to fly him...

Ran A decked out Miranda with him last night (tlt, Cnet, prox, 3po, adSlam, ex mun) and a bandit. Worked pretty good. He avoided Miranda's rear which I believe helped wedge get into position. He flew Poe Jake and Tycho

Luke with R2-D2 + IA, Poe with R5-P9 + IA.

Wedge is not going to arch dodge most of the ships he runs up against. The best Defense is a good Offense for him. BB-8 is not there to get him out of trouble, but to help keep his target in arch. That being said, Biggs is his best friend and is throwing 3 red dice himself. Do your best to keep him at R 3 and make sure all of Wedge's shots count. I love the idea of Jan Orrs to round out this list. a 4 or 5 dice Wedge with tokens sounds scary!
