What rules questions came up for Sullust?

The Learn to Play is useless beyond a general outline. It is essentially a demo rulebook. Throw it out after that.

I disagree. Many core rules are defined in the L2P booklet and are relevent unless contradicted in the reference guide. Not that I like the L2P guides, I actually dislike them very much and fjnd they cause more confusion.

I think it's GREAT. However, it confuses people a lot early on, until they realise that yes, they can pretty much ignore the L2P book pretty quickly.

This thread gives me so much hope for worlds.

I played against two opponents who thought they could spend two defense token of the same type during a single attack.

More surprising, they also thought (TO included!) that initiative was passed to the other player every turn...

All of this because they hadn't read the rules carefully enough and got bad habits.

When does your opponent get to see your list and objectives?

After first player is chosen, so the chooser cannot look at all the objectives and then choose who goes first.

Technically the get to see the list, just not the objectives before picking first player.
