Massing of Sullust stories makes Australia sad

By Irokenics, in Star Wars: Armada

Congratulations to all those who have played and won a Massing of Sullust event.

Just wanted to say us Aussies are pretty depressed that there is no Sullust for us and reading these stories stirs the pot up for his real good haha!

We apologise that you were not fortunate enough to get even a single kit.

We request that you build your community and when you double your nationals sign up we will talk more. ^_~

Would posting a pic of my isd and taunting you help? Jk

I think that sucks for you, maybe your group should organize there own when wave 2 arrives in November?

I am considering organising something like that:

The Massing at Sullustralia

:D

At least we won the Rugby on Saturday.

I did feel sorry for you, but after what you did to our poor (and terrible) Rugby team....hah!

Joking aside, it does suck guys. Sorry Australia got shafted again.

Norway is also sad.

Doubly so because my brother (who lives in Scotland) got two Massings :'(

The stories that everyone is posting are great though.

I think our local is hoping to replicate Massing once wave 2 finally releases, which would be definitely a great day

According to miniranker Australia is placing 2nd to GenCon in terms of Nationals attendance. But hey clearly the market in the Netherlands is booming! And the boat trip from China to there must be faster too!

Great hearing all the stories though!

Careful mate, I would give Lyraeus an earful myself over this comment, but lets not disparage folks because they got an event. Our complaint is we did not.

I am happy there was an event and that many of the folks got to attend and have fun at theirs, I am sad though as we could have, and quite likely should have, but did not for whatever reason. I hope in future events FFG considers their "Convict Brothers" worthy of a few little gifts too.

Ah it was meant in a jestful tone to match Lyraesus'.

Sorry then for over-reacting, I was thinking more of the Netherlands than Lyraeus though.

But OK, jestful tone and the internet, like sarcasm and a 4 year old. :D

Have you considered lobbying your government to become a part of the United States. Given your size and population, we'd probably let you be more than just one more state.

There might be some downsides, but it'd probably be worth it in order to get your FFG stuff on a similar schedule as ours. Then again, maybe TPP will solve your problems somewhat. (But don't hold your breath.)

It would solve the 40k issues for shipping and how much GW hates Australia. . .

Of course it would, prices would double in the US overnight.

After attending 3 Massing events I, and I'm sure several others, have far more of the alt-art ISD-II cards than I really need.

How about I ship them down to Australia? I wasn't sure what else I would do with them.

Who is planning on running a tournament for Wave 2 when it hits?
