Ran into some things that had me curious during the tournament yesterday. When you move a squadron the book says put the ruler down move the squadron and pick the ruler up. Adding the one tool rule into this can you measure where the squadron would go - hold your finger on that spot and then measure further to see if you would be able to engage an enemy? Isn't that kind of violating the concept of the one tool?
Also if you move a squad and have it up in your hand not on the board and measure engagement range to an enemy - reducing how far it moved - isn't that kind of out there rules wise too? The concern in doing this is not aboit moving the squdrons too far but he wanted to keep them engaged but as far back as possible.
experience a player who claims it to be legal to mark his finger on the board and keep measuring from that point as well as measuring engagement range of a squadron before placing it down.
Thanks
