Star Destroyer model

By Wolfstan, in Star Wars: Armada

Then there is the Tector-class which is visible for a second in the Endor battle scene, it has a reinforced reactor and no hangar bay.

The FFG model is that of the ISD-II

I think they didn't actually make a separate model for the Tector - but took the big Avenger model, and did some custom work on the underside - removing the reactor dome, covering over the hole, and covering over the hangar bay.

Same thing they did with the MC80 by adding wings .... I think? But, anyway, Lord Tareq is right, it is a seperate ship shown on screen. So, FFG totally needs to make one for our blasting pleasure.

Yup - I don't think they need to release a separate ISD model based on the ISD1 though. After all - the 91cm model and the 259cm model were used to represent the same ship - the one blasted by ion cannon in TESB.

I will accept card board in place of plastic. Like they did with Slave one in the scum release.

It's also that the ISD previews show that the ISD1 card is included.

Now, a Tector card, that would be different. Indeed, I'd love to see a proper fluff article on the Tector - its history, the differences between it and the ISD, etc.

Yep, Cards and Card board so you can play your existing model as eather.
