since the alice card said u can CHOOSE a friend card to discard and u choose the leon card so u wont have to discard a friend card since leon can only be discarded in action or u can't choose him and must choose a friend who can be discarded??????

Alice says you MUST choose and discard.

If you can't discard Leon, you can't choose him.

That's how I see it anyhow.
