Holy cow, I cannot wait to paint these and get them onto the table!

Yeah, of all the Wave 2 stuff it might be Rogues and Villains I'm most looking forward to putting some paint onto.

Yep, I got 2 packs on order, and will most likely pick up one or two more from the FLGS just so I can have fun painting. Between these, my Shapeways ships, and whatever I get from Utar in resin, I am set for painting for at least the worst of a Cleveland winter.

As a Sharpie painter... I may need to find more colors. But once I finish my other fighters, I'll definitely give these guys some markings.

I only find it Ironic that it is still called Painting when there is no paint involved

As a fan of ashram's work, I also can't wait gor him to paint rogues and villans.

I am not creative. So sharpies are exactly the right amount of difficulty for me. I'm lucky I can draw a stick figure kinda ok.

I paint a few fighters, it's Zen like, then I get pissed and put everything away.

FYI, you could try Copic markers for a compromise. I use them for panel lining and eyeball painting on small figs. I think they'd make for quick color swaps if you're just looking to swap the accent colors on a rebel ship or something.
