The worst squad ever....

I don't know how original this is but my friend and I tried out a format today in which you each try to make the worst squad possible and then make your opponent use it. Each squad must be exactly 100 points. Needless to say, I won this round.

Heh. Fun idea.

Yep, that's something we've done before. It's a neat way to fly different ships/pilots that you'd deem too horrible to actually fly.

However, we also have a rule about no useless upgrades. SO things like Targeting computer on a B-wing aren't allowed.

Usually these formats do have a rule that you can't equip cards that do nothing: you can't put two Ion Cannons on the same ship or Stygium Particle Accelerator on a ship that can't cloak for example.

Not knowing what to expect here, for some reason, this really caught my funny bone, and I snarfed some iced coffee on this one. I think the Tala-Slam needs to become a thing, however.

I can do worse.

Rebel Operative + Flight Instructor x5.

I would house rule the HWKs to have 2 attack die in this format or not allow them w/o an equipped turret as a special rule along with the useless upgrades.

Something to look forward to would be Eaden Vrill with Tractor Beam and Outrider title...would make for a fun 'bad' list and point sink.

Or possibly 3 OGPs with enhanced scopes, flight instructor, titles, and countermeasures. Throw moff jerjerrod on one and something like saboteur on another for 100 points. That list would fly like a brick, the only redeeming quality would be hoping the opponent's dials suck enough to get your arc on them lol

I'll give that honor to the lambda. The HWK is bad, but for a turret support ship you don't need to flip it around a lot. The poor shuttle can't even turn without stress.

Thats only if you buy it a turret though isnt it? I thought the naked hawk was just 1 red forward arc

Well, it is definitely a throwdown between the two. I would argue that the Large Base on the lambda is a more of a detriment than a benefit (barring Engine Upgrade), given its inability to turn. Let me just scream up the board so you can get behind me a little more quickly. The stop offsets that.

Starviper, technically.

But yes; HWK, K, and Shuttle are the only non-epics without a rear-facing option.

Of course, the Y with its horrendous lack of greens almost counts, and has the 3rd worst dial in the game without Astromech help.
