I've got a tournament coming up in around a month and i would like to know some good Imperial list ideas for beating the brobots and the b wing with twin laser turret spam, and whats the most effective way of using said lists. hope you guys can help.
Note- I do not own the imperial raider yet so no palp 
- Auto thrusters + PTL Squints are your friends.

I have a bit of an off the wall imperial list that beat 3 x Double IGs lists in a row and another pair at a different event
Omicron Group Pilot (21)
Darth Vader (3)
Rexler Brath (37)
Predator (3)
Heavy Laser Cannon (7)
"Dark Curse" (16)
Academy Pilot (12)
Total: 99
99 pts so Brath can try get int against VI Bots. Just slow roll the shuttle into play allowing nothing in behind you and VADER as much as possible, Run the AP and Dark curse as interference and get the Defender sniping at range 3! The defender loves the white K turn behind them and barrel roll or focus
Prob not the best list against TLTs but yet to try it!
I personally like the following as a fairly well rounded squad and I'm flying it in a tournament tomorrow.
4 x (Tempest Squadron Pilot + TIE/x1 + Accuracy Corrector + Cluster Missiles)
100 points. AC lets you get at least 2 hits per Cluster Missile attack and we all know green dice fail so some of them will go through. Against quad TLT, if the opponent rolls nothing on defence, you can take down 2 y-wing in 1 round and then just have to contend with 2 after that round.
Just the other day I tabled a loaded Boba/Bossk build with this and only lost 1 shield on one of my Tempests.
With Cluster Missiles and AC, you can take down a decimator in 1 round unless it is kenkirk but then you mop it up next round.

17 expected damage, unless you acquired the TL from a previous turn and have a focus token you intend to use offensively.
Obsidian Swarm. Brobots hate getting blocked, and with the MOV change will have to try to stay in the fight until the end. PS3 should neuter the TLTs fairly easily.
Other options are:
3 squints - Soontir, Jax and either Turr or RGP.
Soontir, Whisper, Obsidians
4x Storms with AC

The only list that gave me trouble yesterday in the tournament was a 4 tlt list with 3 golds and rebel operative with jan ors, rec spec moldy crow and tlt. I wasn't able to get in to range 1 quick enough and my green dice failed me while his red dice were on fire.
I went up against 4 lists yesterday and won 3 out of 4 matches. I flew the 4 tie-a's in 2 groups of 2.
Match 1 - against Talonbane Cobra with glitterstim, torkil mux with tlt and 2 black suns with cluster missiles and glitterstim.
He got 2 of my Tie-A's down but I got all of his fleet.
Win - 100-50
Match 2 - against 4 unhinged tlts - the list this thread is about.
I was able to get to range 1 with 2 of my ships and the other 2 flanked from the side to range 3 of the 1 Y. I attacked with 2 cluster missiles and 1 normal ac attack and that one was down. I managed to get all 4 of them down but ended up losing 2 of mine.
Win 100-50
Match 3 - against reb op hwk with tlt, moldy crow, jan ors plus 3 golds with tlt.
Asteroids were clustered up on his side all at range 1 of each other and he flew behind the wall. I killed 1 of the y's and severely damaged the hwk. Due to jan ors and his rolls I was unable to get anything else down and couldn't get back into range 1 fast enough.
Loss 24-100
Match 4 - against Vader with pred, tiex1,atc, eu, maarek with pred tiex1 atc and palpmobile with mangler cannon.
I set up across from his palpmobile and he set maarek right beside. Vader was in the middle. First turn I turned my entire squad left 2 and then next turn back right 2 and gunned for vader with 2 TL's and the palpmobile with the other 2 TL's. I injured vader and the palpmobile firing off 3 cluster missiles. I blocked palpmobile onto the debris field twice and then got in behind to do a final cluster volley and killed the palpmobile. I managed to kill maarek and vader after that while losing 2 tie-a's again.
Win 100-50
Overall not a bad day. Not a single YT1300 or decimator at the tournament and only a couple 2400's. Everyone else was either running tlt's or regular arc ships. There were a couple of brobot lists as well.
The list that won was dash/miranda and he flew it very well.
Would I run 4 Tempests with accuracy corrector and cluster missiles at a tournament again? ABSOLUTELY!!! It was both fun and challenging but that made it more rewarding. I ended up in 5th place due to MOV. The winner had 4 wins and 4 of us had 3 wins and 1 loss. The rest had 2 wins and single wins. It was a tournament of 17 players. If I had been able to kill at least another ship in the game I lost I would have ended up much better but thats how it is.
I didn't expect to get any 100-0 wins and as you can see that expectation was right on target. It isn't a blowout list but it is consistent against any other list out there.
Edited by YnotNone of the games I played in went to time. The closest one in time was the one I lost.
Forgot to mention. I never focused at all with the squad. I evaded for all of them after their initial TL was acquired. This helped me survive a lot against the tlt's. I would fly the list exactly the same again. 2 and 2 and evade for all other rounds where I didn't TL for cluster missiles. The only other time I just tl'd was when I was range 1 behind them and they didn't have a shot back. Otherwise it was evade action all day. I only didn't get to fire 1 cluster missile all day and that was in teh game I lost. All other cluster missiles were fired off in every game.
End of OP says no Raider so I presume no X1 titles or ATC?
I'm looking at a Vader mini swarm and posted for feedback. I have managed to get hold of 1 title and 1 ATC ( like OP no Raider). Replace Vader with Fel and pray to the God of green dice at the Autothruster alter? Turtling up out of arc and or R3 as much as possible against the TLT and concentrating on arc dodging the brobots.
Came joint second in a small store tournie today and the game I lost was against twin TLT. Misjudged my approach and target priority and the greens betrayed me as a result. Fel died in a single turn to the two TLT's despite starting that round with stealth and AT active. Better approach would have enabled him to turtle up instead of using actions to get out of arc.
Went splat but I felt he could have got the job done if I had flown better. As ever with Fel, not for the faint hearted. Every roll of green dice is nervy and against TLT there will be a lot of them. Brobots on the other hand.. Should be fun for Fel.

Awesome bat reps, what exactly was his list because adding up everything you said on your loss shows him at 101 points.
It was only jan ors - not rec spec - I'll fix the post too.
Fixed it in the post now too. - he had 99 points and gave me initiative which didn't help me - lol.
In the one I won against the 4 unhinged tlt, I gave him initiactive so I could barrel roll to range 1 if needed.

My first suggestion would be don't allow anyone to cheat and equip their B-Wings with TLT. 
You can outfly Brobots with lower PS pilots. You may not know exactly where they're going to be, but you'll have a decent idea of where they won't be able to shoot, so if you play conservatively you should be able to stay alive until you land that crucial block.
As for TLTs, PS3+ TIE Fighters are great. Dark Curse, Backstabber and Night Beast aren't that much more expensive than three Obsidians, and have much more general utility. Got behind and chased down Latts Razzi with Night Beast a while back, killed her almost singlehandedly. A great moment in beast history!
